Hi, I’m Aaron Mackee

I am a hospitality professional who loves technology, and a technology leader passionate about hospitality.

I joke that I am an accidental technologist, and with over 20 years experience in the technology space primarilly focused on hospitality technology, it is a happy accident that has proved to be my calling. I have an unwavering belief that hospitality and technology together provide unlock the ultimate guest experience.

I am a champion of technology enabling the hospitality and service industry. I believe that the technology of today is built so that anyone can learn it, and with the right plan in place, it can serve as the foundation for the best possible guest excperience. What I find time and again to be missing within this space is the care, empathy and understanding for the impact that technology can have on the guest experience as well as the bottom line when it doesn’t work. What can’t be learned through a web search is the impact of a point of sale or property management system going down in the middle of a busy shift. It is my goal to bridge this gap and act as a bridge to bring hospitality to technology, while delivering technology to the hospitality sector.

With Preshift Technology, I am striving to bring hospitality into the technology space, building partnerships between hospitality business and the technology that can elevate them to the next level.


My Approach

It all begins with understanding your business. What do your guests need from your tech stack to make for a memorable experience? What does your staff need to deliver hospitality to your guests? What do you need to run your business successfully?

Understanding what is unique about your business and what challenges you are facing that technology may solve is where I always begin when developing a relationship with a business.

From there, I work with your current vendors to learn how they are supporting your business, where there may be gaps, and what might be available to take your hospitality technology and your business to the next level. Rather than a traditional vendor client relationship, I look to build partnerships with your technology vendors that help to elevate your hospitality business.
